Hagane takes the handling of personal data seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it's used, and what rights you have over it. We aim to be clear and specific rather than vague or comprehensive-sounding.
This policy applies to all personal data collected through our website and through direct contact with us. It does not cover data processed as part of client engagements, which is governed by separate service agreements.
What data we collect
Contact form submissions
When you fill out the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. Subject line is optional. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
Analytics data
If you consent to analytics cookies, we collect anonymised data about how you interact with the site — pages visited, session duration, referring source. No personally identifying information is included in analytics data.
Cookie consent preferences
Your cookie preferences are stored locally in your browser's localStorage. This data does not leave your device and is not transmitted to us.

Data Collection and Use
Hagane collects personal information you provide when contacting us about predictive maintenance, translation workflows, and operational dashboards. This includes your name, email address, telephone number, and details of your enquiry. We use this solely for responding to your request, scheduling consultations, providing project estimates, and maintaining correspondence records. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
Technical Data and Retention
Our server automatically records your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and visit timestamps for site performance monitoring. We retain enquiry records for twenty-four months after last communication, and financial records as required by Japanese tax law. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@grontrixzone.com.
Your Rights Under APPI
Under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), you may request access to personal data we hold, correction of inaccurate records, deletion of data, restriction of processing, and withdrawal of consent. Concerns may also be escalated to the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan.
